Aircraft Accident near Ikanga Airstrip, Voi,Taita Taveta County involving a Cessna 152.

The AAID has begun an investigation into an accident that occurred on 8/3/2025 at 1:34 PM local time near Ikanga Airstrip, Voi, Taita Taveta County.

The accident involved a Cessna 152 Aircraft registration 5Y-BYQ operated by the Kenya School of Flying. 

A team of investigators deployed to the accident site to conduct an on-site investigation and eye witnesses' interviews.
